- DEFINITIONS
“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property. “Property” means [Re-Union Vacations, 52 Black Eagle, Kosmos Ridge, Hartebeespoort] and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment. “Management” means the owners and managers of the Property. “Guests” means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking. “Visitor” means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking/visit.
- ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY.
Payment of the Deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

This agreement sets out the booking terms and conditions pertaining to the website available at http://www.reunionvacations.co.za (“the reunionvacations.co.za website” or “this website”) owned and operated by Re-Union Vacations (Pty) Ltd. based in South Africa trading as Re-Unionvacations.co.za (registration number (hereinafter referred to as “Re-Unionvacations.co.za”)
Acceptance of this agreement:
This agreement is valid, binding and enforceable against all persons who access this website or any part thereof.
Detailed description of goods and/or services:
Re-Union Vacations is a business in the South African tourism industry that provides accommodation and booking online.
Delivery policy:
Subject to receipt of payment, requests for accommodation will be processed within a day of receipt thereof and confirmed by email.
Country of domicile:
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Re-Union Vacation chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, as 52 Black Eagle, Kosmos Ridge, Hartebeespoort, South Africa.
Variation:
Re-Union Vacations reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to vary this agreement or any part thereof at any time without prior notice or justification. Any such changes will be posted on this page. You are encouraged to review this agreement at the inception of each session, as you will be deemed to have accepted any such changes (which shall come into effect once posted on this website) if you continue to use this website after they have been posted.
- CHECK IN / OUT
Check-in time is 14h00
Check out time is 10h00
Late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability.
All keys must be handed back to the Re-Union Vacations staff members. Management reserves the right to charge R450.00 for lost keys or keys not returned when checking out.
- PAYMENT OPTION
All bookings will be confirmed upon paying a deposit of 50% into our account. Bookings made online will be cancelled after 48 hours of not receiving a deposit. The balance of the booking will be payable upon check in and prior taking occupation of the room.
We accept payments using the following methods Visa, MasterCard, direct deposit into our bank account. Credit card or any visa card on the day of arrival. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR). All payment should be made in South African currency.
NB: Please ensure payments are made within the specified time limits or the booking will be cancelled automatically without notice or liability to the guest.
Personal or business cheques will be accepted if received at least 30 days prior to arrival.
Cash payments are not accepted.
Payment via the Online Payment System through any Travel Management System will be subject to the terms and conditions specified by a particular Travel company which is handling the booking on behalf of Re-Union Vacations.
- CANCELLATION OR VARIATION OPTION
- The guest will be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price as a deposit.
- The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel anytime.
- The guests will be charged the total price of the bookings for a NO SHOW”
- Under no circumstances will Reunion Vacations refund the guests. This includes lost bookings due to illness, death, lockdowns, riots and any other reason whatsoever.
- Guest may choose to defer a paid booking to a later date in the current year depending on availabilty. No paid booking will be taken over to the following year.
- Paid bookings which are not taken in the current year will be forfeited.
- Guests may only change/postpone paid bookings twice.
- UNAVAILABILITY
If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavor to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any moneys paid will be refunded in full.
- PARTIES & FUNCTIONS
Either Parties and or Functions are strictly prohibited unless a group booking is made to occupy the entire lodge. Fireworks are not allowed in the lodge. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. will be levied.
- LINEN AND TOWELS
We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bath room on departure. Cleaning and linen change usually occurs daily or more often upon reasonable request.
- PETS
Pets are not allowed at the Lodge.
- SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Lodge. Smoking is only allowed outside either in the patios or garden.
- RIGHT OF ENTRY
Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of the guest/s, the Re-Union Vacations staff members/representative/tradesmen reserve the right to access all rooms at all times, if necessary, for cleaning, repairs and or emergencies.
- LIABILITY
The Re-Union Vacations Management is not liable for any loss or damage to any guest’s property or any property belonging to a member of the guest’s party howsoever caused. The guest or members of his/her party cannot hold the Re-Union Vacations Management liable for any personal injury/death howsoever sustained where management and/or employees have used reasonable skill and care; and/or where caused by the fault of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party (including inadequate supervision of children); and/or where caused by the fault of a third party, and/or where caused by an event that could not have been reasonably foreseen or avoided. We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since Management is not responsible for any injuries, illness, loss or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our Lodge.
